Nicole Baxter’s writing career started in earnest with a trip around the globe. She wrote for the university paper in Swansea, Wales, worked as associate editor for Tilt, a music magazine in Melbourne, Australia, and freelanced for SF Downtown Weekly. She eventually settled into her screenwriting career and wrote the supernatural thriller THE UNCLAIMED for Arnold Kopelson, a revenge thriller JACQUELINE based on his short story, “Jacqueline Ess: Her Will and Testament” for Clive Barker, and the comedy pilot 101 REASONS TO DRINK for Warner Bros. Television.
Most recently, Nicole has written a string of romantic comedies for the Hallmark Channel: LOVE AT FIRST BARK, LOVE AT THE SHORE, ROMANCE AT REINDEER LODGE, THE SWEETEST HEART, and DREAM ON. She is currently developing FLIP FLOP, WHEN ANGELS LAND and CHRISTMAS BELLS ARE RINGING for the Hallmark Channel, and TOO CLOSE FOR CHRISTMAS for MPCA.
